These photos were taken before my daughter got married on Sept. 7, 2019.  Above is my son Christopher. Before Chris with his wife Sara.
Photos are taken at Jenn and Tanner's house while getting ready to go to the church.

Mother of the Bride...Me. Before the wedding.
And Jennifer ready to head for the church.  The bouquet started out as my bouquet. Jean and I together made the teal satin flowers to add to the bouquet. My maid of honour made the original bouquet 30 years ago.
The beginning of a great day. I stayed at Jenn's the night before so we could leave early the next morning to get our hair done downtown at the hairdresser that Mary(Tanner's mom goes to).
More for the next posting.

These sets of blocks are from my guilds' block lotto for 2 different months.  I didn't win either set but I did make some blocks for each.
So we are 6 weeks into social distancing for covid 19.  No one close to us has been positive that I know of.  Things started to get cancelled the week of March 8.  First thing that we missed was Friday March 13.
It hasn't changed a lot for us other then eating out, an me going out for the groups that I attend.  We now shop once a week during the senior times. This is usually very early in the morning.
I've been sewing a lot. Other then quilting I have been making cotton masks. Elastic is low at my house so I have been trying to come up with other things to use.
Happy quilting to all.
 Hugs, Carol

Monday 13 April 2020

This is my winning with the sashing  borders attached. I have set this aside for the moment to work on my March quilt of u.f.o's.   I will use q.a.y.g for putting it together when I get back to it.
These are the one set of blocks for my Judy neimeyer Harvest moon quilt. The last time I was at Nancy's I got the 2 parts of the pointy blocks sewn together.  Next time I go I will decided on the lay out for the quilt.

It is April 13 today and all is in isolation/social distancing because of Covid 19.  Our last outing together was Friday March 13, when we went to mom's for the afternoon because seniors' was cancelled due to Covid 19.  We had 2 weeks when we didn't go out away from home. and then and now we just go out for groceries.  We go during a seniors time to shop both to no frills and to Costco.
Early in the morning.  There are less people in the store and it works out well.
Yesterday was Easter Sunday and it was the first in a long time that we did not have a family dinner.
Very strange.
I have been doing some quilting but am mostly now making some scrub bags and face masks.  Getting  low on elastic now but still going at the moment.
  Happy sewing.....:)Carol
