folded star mats/ and u.f.o. blocks

More front and back of folded star mats

These are still u.f.o.'s. Not sure what I will do with them. At this point not sure where they are either.  I will have to have a look for them.

Won't get much sewing done in the next 2 days.  We are babysitting Ethan while Jenn works.  We will have him overnight again.

Nine folded star mats

Front and back of this folded star mat. This one was gifted away.

Above and below are the front and backs of these 2 folded star mats I made for Joyce  and Peter's wedding.

This is the 3rd mat for Joyce and Peter.

These 2 are the fronts and backs of more I made before Christmas this year.

Front and backs of these 2 folded star potholders/mats made some time ago.
I do like making these. Usually have some on the go. Not at the moment though. Likely because I made so many before Christmas.  I think that I have about 6 still for gifting.

It is snowing this morning Not sure but it might be a Sunday that we stay home.

dish cloths/chair cushion Dr. Who and grandson

These are a sample of 2 of the 200 dish cloths that I crocheted for my daughters wedding as a take home gift (in 2019)

This is one of 4 chair cushions that I used waste canvas to cross-stitch these designs. Son and daughter in law really like Dr. Who. I believe this might have been the last one that I did. A few years ago. Before 2019 I think.
The next 3 photos are of our grandson. His car seat was sitting in the kitchen and had fun climbing in and out of it so grandpa got the camera and took some shots.  He is 16months here.

WE had him over night as his mother  work back to work for her first day since he was born.

folded star class potholder and fabric bowl...Jan. 2023 and July 2022

front and back of folded star potholder that I made while teaching the class virtually in Jan at the Virtual Sewing retreat.  Finished the last few steps after class was over.  It was alot of fun prepping and doing the class.

3 views of the fabric basket I did while at a Virtual Sewing Retreat in July or Aug. 2022. That one was taught by Tia I believe. She did a great job and I really like my little basket.

Crumb quilt with yellow sashing. and pic with Ethan

This crumb quilt is complete with binding now and has gone to charity via Dalemead quilters. I still have more to make up into quilts.  I am good at getting the crumb blocks made, not so good at putting together and finishing the quilts.  I am working on it though.

On personal  note we had Ethan for his first sleepover Jan 16/17. He did really well.

I did a drag and drop to the bottom of screen and it insert the family pic in the middle of the quilts. Oh well it is there. Photo was taken after Christmas when we received these great t shirts.

crumb blocks cut with special ruler....Jan. 15,, 2023

Working on getting these blocks cut into blocks at the Wheatland sleep at home retreat in Nov. 2022.

Interestingly, I am not sure where I put these out of my suitcase when I got home.  I have alot more to do before I can make a quilt from them. I have been making crumb blocks of the same colours for awhile. Not sure what size I want the finished quilt. Time will tell.

flag bed...Jan. 15, 2023

Front and back of a recent dog bed I made.  Our Canadian flag only last about 1 1/2 years outside with our wind.  This is the first one that I made into a dog bed. It will go off to Humane Society soon. It has been done for awhile.  Finished some time in Dec.

I haven't posted for a bit. Seem to forgot about it. Life has been busy. Dave and I both had covid in Oct. so that kept us home for a bit. Not too bad but we isolated at home  5 days and then just stayed home another 5. Cold like symptoms but tested positive.

Christmas was back to normal again, so that was nice.  We had the kids and Mom on Christmas Day here. Lots of fun. Ethan at 15months.  fun to watch for Sure.
