Above is my Feb. u.f.o.  This started as just the blocks. I won these from the online block lotto group that I belong to.  They have been sitting waiting for me to make something.  So In Feb. I decided how I was going to put the together  and that I had to make 4 more. Which I did. Then I started sewing them together in groups of 4. This shot was the one I was trying to decide which fabric to use for the sashing.  I actually picked the one in the middle.  I don't have another photo uploaded but I got all 3 rows sewn together with the sashing and add a 5 1/2 inch strip to each left side and another on the right side of the last set. Plan is to quilt as you go for assemble and figure out another border for the top and bottom.
The above quilt in progress is also a bit further then the photo. I now have the centre part sandwiched and pinned. The outer borders have an added 5 1/2 inch strip to the outside of all of them. They will be sandwiched and quilted separated and the joined to the main piece
The centre of the above quilt was done after taking a class from Loraine Stagness.I then added the twisty border to make it queen size.  This quilt I gifted to my Mom and Stepdad for their 25th wedding anniversary.  It is now on my mom's bed.  The painting above it was painted by my daughter for a Christmas gift to Grandma.  The crewel picture pillow on the bed was made by me years ago.  Well, I did the crewel work, my mom made it into a pillow.
