Days for girls sew day…July 6, 2016

Days for girls sew day with the Langdon Alberta team. Maureen and Carol are coleaders. Maureen is on the right. Carol took the photo. Fenna is cutting corners before serging the liners.  We held a sew day on July 6.  Had a great time

Carol is doing a demo here of how to doodles a design onto the bag before sewing it. I used some quilting templates to stencil a pattern onto the material first and then just started to doodle.

Here is some of the stuff that we finished during our sew day. Some items were made at home

and turned into group that day.

Finished design, now ready to be made into a bag and draw string added.
